*No Fee Unless We Win refers only to the fees charged by the attorney. Courts costs and other additional expenses of a legal action usually must be paid by the client from an actual settlement or verdict. Why Choose the Law Offices of John W. Hurst, P.C.?

Experience and Knowledge
Insurance companies will always seek to limit the recovery of an injured person to the lowest possible amount.  The Law Offices of John W. Hurst, P.C. was founded by a former insurance defense attorney, John Hurst.  Mr. Hurst began his career working for insurance companies like State Farm, Liberty Mutual, GEICO, Georgia Farm Bureau and Sentry.  During this time he gained invaluable information about the insurance industry’s defense tactics and strategies.  Working as an insurance defense attorney gave Mr. Hurst the experience and perspective to know how insurance companies evaluate and defend personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.   Today, Mr. Hurst uses this knowledge to maximize settlements and verdicts for his clients.

At the Law Offices of John W. Hurst, P.C., we represent individuals on a contingent fee basis, meaning we charge no attorney’s fees until a settlement or verdict is obtained.  There is no fee unless we win*.

We Understand That Filing A Lawsuit Is Not For Everyone
We understand that many people do not want to go through the stressful and lengthy litigation process.  Every case is different and not every case requires filing a lawsuit or even going to trial.  In many cases, we are able to get fair and reasonable settlement offers and clients choose to go ahead and settle without having to file a lawsuit.  However, we prepare every case as if we are going to trial, in order to keep the option of filing a lawsuit and going to trial on the table for our clients.  We will give you our honest opinion as to whether we think it would be better for us to file a lawsuit on your behalf, always keeping in mind your best interests.

We Will File A Lawsuit If Needed
We are advocates and will file a lawsuit and take your case to trial if necessary.  Many firms prefer to avoid litigation, but if we believe your case needs to be litigated in order for you to get full value for your claim, we will let you know.  However, it is your choice if you want us to file a lawsuit on your behalf.
